Fall ...

Two and a half years back ...
There was an walk-in in Robert Bosch. It was for ppl with experience of 2+ years. Some brilliant told me that, they give such statements in advertisements to avoid the huge number of freshers who rush to thier company. But if we go, they will take us. Me directly out of college with no job in hand and was ready believe anything and everything for an offer letter, went there. I saw many aspirants coming in and out of the interview room. I saw the gleam of experience in many ppl's eyes. Hmmm ... an waste travel, I thought. But I did not wanted to give up till the interviewer asked me to leave the place... Making a seat between those 'punt' guys I sat down trying to remember, how to declare structure, what are pointers ...stuff. It was about 2 hours,
(I mean... not when I remembered how to use structures and pointers...), that guy was calling all the ppl in front, back, right and left of me and I was blinking at him and the ppl who were lucky to goto interview room. Then I tought it was heights to sit here anymore. I went to that assistant guy and asked him y he is not calling me. He said, he is calling the ppl who were waiting from 3 hours first... :-P I did not want to talk more.

There was a guy sitting and continously talking to another guy and an young lady, some distance from me. I think they were observing my restlessness. I heard them giggle. Anyway, I did not worry abt all these, bcos my eyes were only on interview room and the expressions of the ppl who come out. After some more time, somehow I ended up talking to one of them and came to know his name is Kiran, from North Karnatka, working for LnT and many more info abt him. Even he came to know my non-stop effort to get a job in embeded systems or related domain. While leaving we exchanged our e-mail id's phone numbers and other contact information, as he had said he can fwd my resume in his company... Needless to say it was the only benefit I had that day staying for that long.

2 days later ...
I got a call from Kiran, he again reminded me to send my resume. Me a bit hesitant to take help from an unknown person said yes and we talked a lil general things ended our call.

2 more days after that ...
Kiran again called and said, the test pattern of L n T is very easy and I need not be hesitant to send the resume. He also added in his North Karnataka style of Kannada : "Naa nimgen upkara madtillari. Namgu reference kottre rokka bartada. Karch maddk beekalri. Adka force madak hateeni ... hehehe". I sent the resume same day.The call came in 15 days I had cleared all the rounds of interview ... But before they sent me an offer letter I got an offer letter from a company very better than LnT in payscale. I had to give up waiting for a offer from his company.I told him "sorry ri, nimge reference rokka kodsooke aagilla."Kiran "Irli bidri... Chalo kelsa sikkaithi. Namgu refernce kodri. Neevu dudd madkori, namgu jaasti sambla barohang maadri..."

We were calling each other and were talking on all topics on earth. His parents were searching a girl for him. He wud tell all his experiences in a humourous way. I think our call never ended b4 half an hour.

One and a half years back...
He had a good news to tell to me. He had got engaged. Our dialogue went something like this after that...
K: Ond sala sigri. Maduvi aadre nam betti baal trasa agtatiti.
Me: Yakri, nim Mrs. nu karkondu nam manege banni.
K: Aiyoo...aag matt barteeviri... Nan maduvigi innu baal dina aithi. Eno problem aagithi.
He said he is waiting for his sis to get married before him and som other factors which is stopping his marriage in near by time.
K:Alri, nim friend obranna ond year back noodiddu. Mat nodbeeku, maatadbeeku. treat kodsbeeku ant ansonge illenu...
Me : Aytu, nan maduve fix aagatalla. aaga bartini, kariyooke.
K: Aiyoo ... Nim maduve aadre, nim husband na neevu bittu nanna meet madooke bandange. Aamele maklu... samsaara... oooohhh... nan nenap nimg aagangilla.Nim neppau nange aagangilla...Mommaklanna adsikondiro vayasalle ri namge rest sigaadu. aaga nim mommakklu jote neevu banni. nan mommakklu jote naan barteeni...
Me: (Not able to resist his fore thinking and wanted to cut it ...) aytu banri... meet aagona.
We met at Ice Thunder (a hotel near by my place) we talked on how long we searched for a job after our graduation, number of failures we faced ... how few ppl cud make job at campus and we sat and analysing the reason for our failures... It was a nice meeting ...

One year before ...
I had a good news for him. I had got engaged. My marriage was exactly 9 months after that. He congragulated me heartfully. He reminded me to meet him when I had grand kids!!! :-P
But his marriage was already postponed once. :(

When I had cald him after some months to invite him to my marriage, it was a long time we had called each other now ... He was longing to settle in life. Thier marriage was postponed twice. But the dates were fixed as feb 11. He had said, careerwise he had bcom lead for a project. He has a chance to goto U.S. And was not finding time to keep in touch with any of his friends.

3 days before:
For once I have heard a bad news of Kiran. He has left this wife whom he married 4 days before, his parents, many friends like me, the whole world in fact ... He was the only unlucky person in his bus which met with accident. His head injured and ppl fled in all directions forgetting him, who was travelling alone to return to his company on an urgent work. The haste world moving in high speed did not bother to help him join hospital. He fought for life for 15 days and more... I am not able to reach him anymore in any of his contacts he had given years before ... :( I wanted to ask him how he cud leave his wife whom he married after long waiting ...

Sorry, I cannot tell the world better, how he always craved to live a full life and how he missed it at 30+ years ...:(

"Kiran, u've have abruptly ended our friendship pal!!! May ur soul rest in peace ..I am mumb to talk more..."

Very touching and very unfortunate. I have lost several of my friends and couple of very close people. It is very sad.
